Xiaomi's next foldable phone in the MIX Fold series, the MIX Fold 4, have surfaced thanks to @evleaks. The MIX Fold 4 is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and is slated to receive IPX8 water resistance ratings.
A mock-up reveals quad rear cameras for the phone, though these details may change before the final version. Notably, the phone is said to debut the Leica Summilux lens, boasting a 50-megapixel OV50E 1/1.55″ main camera, a 13MP OV13B 1/3.06″ ultra-wide-angle camera, a 60MP OV60A 1/2.8″ 2x portrait camera, and a 10MP S5K3K1 1/3.94″ 5x periscope telephoto lens. It will also feature a 16MP OV16F front camera.
The MIX Fold 4 is expected to retain its side-mounted fingerprint sensor and will house a slightly larger 5000mAh dual-cell battery compared to the MIX Fold 3's 4800mAh, with support for wireless charging. According to Leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will incorporate two-way satellite communication and will maintain a slim profile, measuring just 9.x mm thick. More details about the displays are anticipated soon.
Xiaomi is likely to unveil the MIX Fold 4 around mid-August, alongside the Redmi K70 Ultra, similar to last year's launch timeline.
