HMD is gearing up to launch its new smartphones this July, as suggested by leaks from tipster HMD_MEME (@smashx_60). The Recently surfaced images and specifications of the rumoured upcoming device, tentatively named 'HMD View'.
The device is expected to feature a sturdy FHD+ OLED display and a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will reportedly come with 8GB of RAM, a 50MP rear camera with OIS, and a 4,700mAh battery.
Despite having an OLED screen, the images show a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone appears to have a metal frame, indicated by the visible antenna bands on the sides.
The device is expected to be available in Meteor Black, Ice (Grey), and Velvet (Maroon) colors. Several HMD phones have recently received BIS certification, suggesting that the new HMD phones will launch in India soon after the global release.
According to the tipster, the HMD phones are set to launch within a fortnight from July 5th, likely around July 19th or that week.
