Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S24, which uses older M13 panels, the Pixel 9 series is expected to set new brightness records, exceeding the Pixel 8’s HDR full-screen brightness of 1,400 nits and the Pixel 8 Pro’s 1,600 nits.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is anticipated to feature a redesigned display, transitioning from the original Pixel Fold’s wide aspect ratio to a nearly square shape. The internal display will have a resolution of 2,152 x 2,076 pixels and measure eight inches diagonally, an increase from the original model's 7.6 inches. This adjustment aligns it more closely with other popular foldables like the OnePlus Open.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s inner display will reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, compared to 1,000 nits on its predecessor. The outer display will be 6.24 inches, matching the Pixel 9’s display specifications.
