Google has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the Pixel 6a in India, after it was announced at its Google I/O event back in May. The phone has a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and has an In-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Google Tensor processor with supports 5G SA/NSA, Titan M2 Security chip, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, and is based on Android 12. The company also confirmed that will receive security updates for at least 5 years, but OS updates are at 3 years.
The phone has a 3D thermoformed composite back panel compared to glass in the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. It has a dual rear camera setup where a 12.2MP primary camera, OIS along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel punch-hole front-facing camera. It is powered by a 4410mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging.

The Google Pixel 6a comes in charcoal and chalk colors, and the price is Rs. 43,999 (MRP) for 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant. It will be available from July 28th on Flipkart and the pre-order will be started today, July 21st.
