The Korea Times reports that Google has chosen LG once again to partner with for making the next Nexus phone as well. LG saw a great deal of improvement in its mobile division thanks to innovative tech and design in both the Nexus 4 and Optimus G line of phones. Although the marketing and availability of the Nexus 4 was most of the time a miss, still its one of the most highly rated pure android Nexus devices out there.
Therefore, it seems that the development of the next Nexus device is already in late stages with prototypes about to be leaked soon. There's also been talk of the Motorola X Phone which is said to be a pure android device as well. Will Google pe using Motorola to create a mid-range subsidized line of smartphones, called the X phones range. While the Nexus devices will be flagship android devices from different OEM devices each year to keep the android partners happy ?
There might be something to this thought, but its not going to be this Google I/O, beginning May 15, that we are going to find out about the next Nexus device. Since at this event Google is probably just going to show us the LTE equipped Nexus 4 with 32GB onboard storage and a new Nexus 7.
