Coolpad Note 3 Lite with fingerprint sensor was launched today in an event in New Delhi today. It is a smaller variant of the popular Coolpad Note 3, and comes with a 5-inch HD display running on the tamer quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 3GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage. Its the cheapest phone with a fingerprint sensor available in India at present.


The biggest draw towards Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be the fingerprint sensor which the company has now made a budget affair with the new launch. It is as swift as its bigger brother. Moreover, its quite deeply integrated within the OS and allows you to take calls, selfies and also lock apps apart from unlocking your device.

Coming to the imaging department, the Note 3 Lite retains the same 13MP rear camera with LED flash alongwith a 5MP front-facing camera. The rear camera can record 1080p videos as well. You have noise-cancellation built-in as well. Just below the camera module you have the excellent fingerprint sensor and inside the back-cover is a non-removable 2500 mAh battery.

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based CoolUI which is pretty swift and offers some customization in the form of themes, configurable launcher. It offers excellent build quality with a textured backcover and a metal frame inside.
