Introduction

Samsung Galaxy Star Duos is an entry-level android handset featuring a single-core 1GHz processor and 3-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) display. The Galaxy Star Duos is currently listed at Rs. 4990 at various online retailers. The major highlight of the smartphone is that it has great build quality and good performance as well. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer on top.

In The Box

The usual accessories are included with the Samsung Galaxy Star Duos as well, including a white headset, a non-usb wall charger, a separate micro-USB data cable, a 1200 mAh Samsung battery and the handset itself.

First Impressions

Due to Samsung's focus on build quality the Galaxy S Duos does not seem like a entry-level handset. although given the small display size you cannot mistake it for any other. But the display quality, including color reproduction, touch response, as well overall look and feel of the device make it a good buy.

There are three buttons below the display, one being the physical home key and the other capacitive touch menu and back buttons. The phone zips along on every task it is given with its 1GHz processor, and 512MB RAM.
