YU is launching a new smartphone on September 8th and we now have leaked specs of the YU5050 alongwith an import listing. It seems that the YU YU5050 might be the device launching on Tuesday.
If you go by the GeekBench listing, the YU YU5050 runs on the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and a 5.2-inch display.
You can also see the import listing above which says that the price of the smartphone will be around Rs. 21,000. With the YU YU5050 the company plans to combat the hype around the OnePlus 2 and possibly undercut it in terms of price.
But given the heating issues with the Snapdragon 810, it remains to be seen what measures YU Televentures has taken to deal with it.
