XOLO Q1200 has gone official with a 6.85 mm thin metallic unibody build. The Q1200 went on sale last week. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 Pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat. Another highlight apart from the stellar specs is the 8 MP camera at the back with dual-LED flash which uses Sony's Exmor R Sensor which we saw on the XOLO Q1010i. There's a 2 MP front-facing camera as well.
There are a few software features on the Q1200 as well. It has Voice commands for accepting calls, and snoozing alarms. You also have Float-task multi-window mode using which you can split the display between two apps and use them both simultaneously, Gesture Control to change videos, music or images in gallery. There's also a Cold Screen mode which lets you to double tap to wake up the device, smart reading which keeps the display on while you are reading something and lots more.
Coming to the build, XOLO says that it has a metallic unibody design which is just 6.85mm thin but there is no mention of the weight. That means the back-cover will be non-removable and you can also see the SIM card slot on the right of the phone in the above image. It comes with dual stereo speakers for immersive sound experience.
The XOLO Q1200 will be available on pre-order from Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon.in starting soon for Rs. 13,999. The general availability is slated to be around June 10th.
