Xiaomi Watch 2 launched Globally with 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC, WearOS

Xiaomi launched its latest smartwatch based on Google Wear OS, the Xiaomi Watch 2 in the global market at its MWC 2024 event, along with the Xiaomi 14 series. It is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 Wearable platform and runs Wear OS, utilizes dual-core architecture to achieve high performance and low power consumption, enabling autonomous switching.

It features a 1.43″ AMOLED display and an aluminum alloy frame, the watch weighs 37g. With support for over 160 sports modes, including new winter sports options, it can accurately record the distance and average speed of each glide, as well as map a user’s ski tracks. Equipped with dual-band L1+L5 GNSS, the watch enables users to accurately locate themselves in challenging environments such as snow.

In addition to Strava sync, it also syncs to Suunto. The watch incorporates an upgraded 12-channel heart rate monitoring module sensor and an enhanced sleeping monitoring algorithm that integrates blood oxygen and breath data for comprehensive analysis and more accurate health-related data. Similar to the Watch S3, it also features the Sleep Animals function. It has 32GB of storage, the watch promises up to 65 hours of typical usage with its 495mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Watch S3 comes in black and silver colors and the price is 199 Euros (USD 215 / Rs. 17,870 approx.). It is already available in Europe.
