Xiaomi has already revealed they are launching the new Redmi Note 4 with a Snapdragon processor on January 19th. Now, Flipkart has also said that it will be their exclusive. In a conversation which also involved Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, Flipkart teased the Redmi Note 4 calling it the All New All-rounder. This could mean Xiaomi may have a new brand ambassador in India.
The Redmi Note 4 was launched in China last year with a MediaTek processor, however, in India, it is expected to come with the Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 653. Other specs should remain unchanged including the 13MP PDAF rear camera, 5MP front camera, MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow and hybrid dual SIM slots along with the massive 4100 mAh battery. Xiaomi may again launch two different storage variant of the Redmi Note 4, with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Competition is ripe in the segment, and Lenovo has already given the first punch by slashing the prices of their Snapdragon 820 powered Z2 Plus which now starts at just Rs. 14,999. Then there are the dual camera Coolpad Cool 1 and Huawei Honor 6X to worry about as well.

Xiaomi would need to continue with its budget pricing to keep its market share amid higher competition this time around.
Update: Xiaomi has just added a video teaser of the Redmi Note 4 Indian variant, which does seem to indicate that a black color of the phone may launch here.
