Xiaomi’s brand Redmi just launched its latest budget smartphone Redmi 8A Dual the successor of Redmi 8A in India. The device comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ Dot Notch display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 processor with up to 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage and MIUI 11 based on Android Pie as similar to the Redmi 8A.
Coming to the camera, it has a dual rear camera where 13-megapixel AI primary camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor and on the front side has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device does not have a fingerprint scanner but comes with face unlock.
The backside of the device is made up of plastic with Aura X Grip compared to Aura wave grip design in the previous one that comes with splash resistant nano-coating.
Coming to the features, a dedicated dual SIM slots, wireless FM Radio, Google Lens, and a massive 5000mAh battery that support 18W fast charging via USB Type-C port with support for reverse charging, but you will get 10W charger in the box. The Redmi 8A Dual comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White colors.

The phone will be available on February 18 on Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores and also be available from other offline stores soon.

The Redmi also launched its first power bank in India along with the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone. Now, Redmi also comes in power bank category where it launched two new power banks, a 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh power banks with 18w two-way fast charging through USB Type-C.
