Xiaomi has begun teasing the highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 7, set to launch in India on January 10th as the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6. The teaser emphasizes that the Xiaomi Pad "does it all." Xiaomi has confirmed that the tablet will offer a tactile experience and will launch alongside its usual accessories, including a keyboard and stylus.
For reference, the Xiaomi Pad 7 debuted in China last October, featuring an 11.2-inch 3K 144Hz LCD display, powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. It sports a unibody metal design, runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, and includes a new floating keyboard with 0°-124° stepless adjustment, a 64-key adaptive backlight, a mechanical press touchpad, and an 8850mAh (typical) battery with 45W fast charging.
Notably, Xiaomi is not expected to bring the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, which features a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, to the Indian market. The Xiaomi Pad 7 will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, mi.com, and through offline stores. Additionally, Xiaomi has teased a new smartphone slated for a 2025 launch, which is speculated to be the Redmi 14C 5G.
