Xiaomi has launched its latest tablets the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro at an event in China along with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, as they promised. These feature an 11-inch 2.8k LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10, Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and feature a unibody metal design. The Pad 6 run on Snapdragon 870 SoC and the 6 Pro has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and are based on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
The smart touch keyboard of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series comes with a larger touch area, combined with full-screen gesture operations, and NFC one-touch instant transmission. The stylus has less latency of about 40% compared to the predecessor, has a battery life of 150h on a single charge, and the wear resistance of the tip is increased by 3 times, says Xiaomi.
The Pad 6 Pro can maintain an average frame rate of 58.7fps even after half an hour of playing the Genshin Impact game, as per the company. These have quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Pad 6 powered by an 8840mAh with 33W fast charging, and Pad 6 Pro has an 8600mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
