Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest tablet in the 6 series the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14-inch model in China on August 14th, alongside the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. This comes after the launch of Xiaomi Pad 6 earlier this year.
Xiaomi has conducted comparisons involving the Pad Max 14″, not only contrasting it with a laptop but also making a comparison against the Xiaomi Pad 6 which features an 11″ display. According to the company, the screen of the Pad 6 Max tablet, sized 14 inches, will be approximately 62% larger than the 11-inch display on the Pad 6.
Although additional specifications were not disclosed, a previous Geekbench listing uncovered that it would be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, similar to the Pad 6 Pro with 12GB of RAM and based on Android 13. As per the 3C listing, the tablet is expected to support 67W fast charging.
The picture displays a setup of dual rear cameras, and reports suggest that it will incorporate a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor for depth perception and 3D modeling. Additionally, there are indications that the tablet will include a front-facing ToF sensor for face mapping, as well as the ability to automatically pause or play based on eye detection.
We can expect further information to be revealed in the upcoming days, leading up to the tablet's official unveiling next week.
