Xiaomi has announced that the Xiaomi MIX Flip will also debut as the company's first flip phone along with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4, after confirming the launch on July 19th in China. The Company has revealed that the MIX Flip will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will feature Leica optics with a Summilux large aperture lens. The images show dual rear cameras embedded into the outer screen, a metal frame, and several colour options.
The phone will come with a large 4780mAh battery and an outer screen with all the necessary functions, allowing it to operate like a normal phone even when closed, according to Xiaomi.
Recently, the phone appeared on Geekbench, showing 12GB of RAM, and the 3C certification confirmed 67W fast charging. The phone is expected to use a 50-megapixel OV50E 1/1.55-inch sensor with OIS, and earlier rumours mentioned a 1.5K foldable display, a 32MP OV32B front camera, and a 60MP OV60A 2X telephoto camera.
