Xiaomi has launched its flagship smartphone the Mi Note Pro with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440 Pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 64 GB internal storage and Cat9 LTE (upto 450 mbps) support. There's an aluminium frame for added rigidity.
The Mi Note Pro comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization, dual-tone LED flash, Sony BSI Sensor and there's a 4 MP front-facing camera as well. There are some unique additions to the Mi Note devices including 3D Curved Gorilla Glass in the front, ESS ES9018K2M chip qith 192 KHz / 24-bit audio decoder and TI's OPA1612 sound amplifier for better sound. But sadly even the new Xiaomi Mi Notes run on Android 4.4 KitKat, but there's an update to Lollipop in the works.

The Xiaomi MI Note Pro will retail for 3,299 Chinese Yuan (about $533 or Rs. 32,880) when it goes on sale in China in late-March. At present there is no word on a global roll-out. Xiaomi also launched the refreshed Mi Note 2015 at the event.
