Xiaomi is planning to launch its flagship smartphone Mi Mix 4 this year along with the Mi Pad 5 tablet. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that Xiaomi will launch a new MIX series smartphone and Mi Pad tablet this year, although it is not clear whether or not it will be launched alongside the Mi Mix smartphone. The Redmi CEO Wang Teng Thomas also said that the next Mi Mix phone will have a flat display.
As we know that the Xiaomi introduced the Mi MIX 3 back in 2018 and started rolling out in 2019. The Mi MIX Alpha was the next phone that was introduced in 2019 was a concept smartphone. Last year, Xiaomi has introduced its latest third-generation under-display smartphone camera technology, which is the best solution for under-screen cameras, with perfect display and selfies.
However, some rumors revealed a foldable-screen phone and also a no-notch screen with an under-screen camera like its new concept phone with a quad-curved waterfall screen and Under-Display Camera that introduced last week, but it is not clear if the upcoming Mi MIX phone will feature this design.
The company introduced its last tablet Mi Pad 4 and Mi Pad 4 Plus back in 2018. Now, some rumors about Xiaomi working on a new tablet, but the company did not launch anything in the past two years. We will finally see Xiaomi a new tablet later this year. But, Wang Teng did not say the tablet will be the successor of the Mi Pad 4, or it will launch under the Redmi brand. Earlier rumors revealed that Redmi tablets were in the works.
