Xiaomi already confirmed that it will introduce its Mi 11 series smartphone including Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Lite at the Xiaomi Mega Launch event on March 29th along with the new Mi MIX Smartphone and Mi PAD 5. Now, the company has confirmed that will introduce its latest Mi Smart Band 6 at this event, which is the successor of Mi Band 5 that was launched last year. The design and the looks are similar to the predecessor, but the teaser image reveals that the body is larger, and the curvature of the screen edge will be more. It expected to come with a larger screen.
Earlier firmware leak where it revealed that the band will come with GPS support, Amazon Alexa, and finally support SpO2 monitoring. The watch faces are bigger and the band screen width will be 152 pixels, and the height could be around 360 pixels.
The Mi band 6 will comes with 30 sports mode where 19 are new such as Indoor fitness, Indoor ice skating, HIIT, Core Training, Stretching, Stepper, Gymnastics, Pilates, Street dance, Dance, Zumba, Cricket, Bowling, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton, Boxing, and Kickboxing.
The Company also said to feature an option to set alarms on the Mi Band directly instead of relying on the app. Other features include the option to lock the screen during swimming, Pomodoro timer for better productivity, and view sleep data directly from the smart band.
