Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi Max and MIUI 8 tomorrow in India. But Hugo Barra, VP - Xiaomi Global, just tweeted out an interesting image which says the launch is one day away with a hand wearing the Mi Band 2.
At this point it is pure speculation, but Xiaomi may just be teasing the launch of the Mi Band 2 tomorrow with the image. If you aren't in the know, the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 comes with a 0.42-inch OLED display which can display all the fitness data including steps, heart-rate alongwith time. There is continuous heart-rate monitoring and automatic sleep tracking available as well.

The most notable changes between the original Mi Band and Mi Band 2 is the presence of the display and a button to scroll through different fitness data. Talking about build, there's IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The strap has gotten an update as well, and now more skin friendly.
The Mi Band 2 is quite light just like its predecessor and weighs in at just 7 grams and the company promises around 20 days of battery-life on a single charge. The Mi Band 2 now connects over Bluetooth LE, preserving battery life on your smartphone as well.
As was said earlier, this is mere conjecture at the point but if launched in India tomorrow, the Mi Band 2 should be priced around Rs. 1500.
