Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone the Mi 11 Ultra in the Mi 11 series, as they promised. It has a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay, peak brightness of 1,700 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, the touch sampling rate of 480Hz, HDR 10+, supports Dolby Vision and MEMC motion compensation. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that offers better scratch and drop resistance. It has a 1.1-inch AMOLED secondary always-on display on the back for notifications and selfie preview.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 888 5nm processor with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 2000m㎡ VC LiquidCool Technology and works on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It is the first smartphone that has a 50MP 1/1.12″ custom Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor with 1.4 μm pixel size, OIS support. In addition, the Mi 11 Pro has a 13MP 123° ultra-wide along with an 8MP telephoto camera with support for 5x optical and up to 50x digital zoom. It has ISO fusion and Staggered-HDR for real-time HDR mode with better energy efficiency. It also has a 48MP telephoto camera with the same Sony IMX586 sensor, OIS, as well as dToF with 64 focus points and a flicker sensor. Both the phones support up to 1920 fps ultra slow-motion video.
The phone has a ceramic back panel and comes with IP68 water and dust resistant capability. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W wired flash charging and 67W wireless fast charging that can fully charge the phone in just 36 minutes and also supports 10W wireless reverse charging. But there is a certification issue in the Indian version, so it comes with a 55W charger in the box, and the compnay will bring the 67W charger soon.
