Xiaomi has launched its latest 5G smartphone in the Civi series the Xiaomi Civi 2 in China, as they promised. It has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 10-bit AMOLED 58° curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, supports Dolby Vision, up to 1000 nits brightness, HDR10+, and an In-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with customized stainless steel 2387mm² VC liquid cooling along with 6200mm² graphite, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and is based on Android 12 with MIUI 13.
The Civi 2 has dual front-facing cameras inside the punch-hole where a 32MP AF primary camera along with 32MP 100° ultra-wide camera with four soft LED lights. According to the company, the phone offers DSLR-like portrait blur, Bionic eyes that imitate the human eye to achieve delicate blurring, and offers up to 256 layers of depth information. The texture beauty portrait offers star-level retouching, pixel-level skin rejuvenation technology 3.0 and offers three-dimensional tone and rich details. The texture of the skin is specially adjusted for boys, thanks to AI gender recognition.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor along with 20MP ultra-wide camera and a macro camera. It is 7.23mm thick and weighs just 171.8 grams, and is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, which can charge up to 100% in 40 minutes.
The company also announced a Hello Kitty Special Edition model in white that has double-layer patterns, rich layers, and dual fine polishing, which gives a delicate feeling to hands. The grooves are superimposed on the nano-level to create three-dimensional light and shadow. There is a special box with the model that provides a Hello Kitty Custom Lipstick Power Bank: 5000mAh, Hello Kitty figurine, pouch, and more.
