Xiaomi is currently in the process of developing the new Xiaomi 14T series, with insights into the device emerging from an analysis of the Xiaomi HyperOS source code by the Android Headlines team. Comprising two variants, the series includes the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro models.
Xiaomi 14T Pro -
Analysis of the HyperOS code suggests that the Xiaomi 14T Pro may essentially be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Ultra, evident from the shared "Rothko" codename. Both devices are likely to share similar specifications.
Distinguishing itself from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, the 14T Pro will bear the internal model number "N12" and will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 SoC. Notably, unlike the Redmi K70 Ultra, the 14T Pro will support wireless charging. Furthermore, it will feature a telephoto camera, deviating from its counterpart's macro camera.
Global availability is anticipated for the Xiaomi 14T Pro, with different regional variants denoted by model numbers such as "2407FPN8EG," "2407FPN8ER," and "A402XM."
Xiaomi 14T -
The Xiaomi 14T, codenamed "degas," is expected to deliver a unique user experience and is represented in the HyperOS source code with the internal model number "N12A." Similar to its Pro counterpart, the global market can expect the availability of the Xiaomi 14T, indicated by model numbers like "2406APNFAG" and "XIG06."
Both models in the Xiaomi 14T series are projected to share similar specifications but will differ in chipsets, following the pattern of previous T series releases. For example, while the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro shared identical cameras and battery capacities, the 14T series is expected to continue this trend.
Expected Launch Dates -
The Redmi K70 Ultra is scheduled for a Chinese debut in August, with the Xiaomi 14T series set to follow suit in September.
