Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone the Xiaomi 14 in India, as promised, following its debut in global markets at the MWC. The device boasts a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED flat TCL C8 LTPO panel with a peak brightness of 3000 nits, offering a 1-120Hz refresh rate, ultra-narrow bezels measuring 1.61mm and narrow bezels at 1.71mm, achieving a remarkable 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. With Dolby Vision support and DC dimming, the phone delivers enhanced visual experiences.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, the device incorporates an IceLoop cooling system with a Vapor-liquid separation design, offering three times the performance of traditional VC cooling. Running on Android 14-based HyperOS, it guarantees 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
It features a flat side frame with rounded corners and sharp edges, the device maintains a slim profile of 71.5mm for convenient one-handed operation, complemented by a frosted glass back. Notable design improvements include relocating the infrared sensor to the camera area on the back, concealing the speaker opening with a micro-slit hidden design, and integrating the top microphone into the earpiece area. Moreover, the phone boasts IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Its triple rear camera setup comprises a 50MP 1/1.31″ 1.2μm large Light Fusion 900 image sensor, ensuring a 13.5EV high dynamic range, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera, all equipped with Leica Summilux lens.
The phone houses a 4610mAh High-density silicon battery and supports 90W wired charging, enabling a full charge in just 31 minutes. It also offers 50W wireless charging for a 100% charge in 46 minutes, along with 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
