Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of the Xiaomi 14, the company's forthcoming flagship smartphone in India on March 7th, following the release of teasers. This unveiling comes a week after the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series at the Mobile World Congress later this month.
To recap, the Xiaomi 14, initially introduced in China last year, features a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED flat 120Hz LTPO panel with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and boasts triple 50MP rear cameras equipped with Leica Summilux lenses. Additionally, the device is equipped with a 4610mAh battery, 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging capabilities.
The device is expected to be available starting from the 8GB + 256GB model. While rumors suggest the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India as well, the 14 Pro model is not anticipated to be part of the release. Further details about Xiaomi's plans for India regarding these models are yet to be revealed.
