Today, Xiaomi has revealed details about its Xioami 12 samrtphone display. The company already confirmed that will launch its latest flagship smartphones in the Xiaomi 12 series on December 28th in China. The company has been revealing more details about the phones in their official Weibo account past few days. According to Xiaomi, there are many limitations and difficulties in making a small screen mobile phone, but after “repeated discussions”, it finally decided to use a smaller screen on its flagship.
The company has posted an image where it compared the Xiaomi 12 with the iPhone 13 display and said that the Xiaomi 12 with a large 6.28-inch screen is just 69.9mm in width that making it a compact design with an 8% larger screen compared to iPhone.
The Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that Xiaomi 12 small size high-end flagship samrtphone will be the company’s best mobile phone so far, and it is also a new milestone for Xiaomi’s high-end mobile phone.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will come with a 6.73-inch QHD+ E5 AMOLED LTPO 120Hz variable refresh rate screen with micro-prism technology and intelligent dynamic refresh rate technology which is developed by Xiaomi. Both the phones have got DisplayMate A+ certification.
It also comes with VC liquid cooling with a 2600mm² cooling area, so when we play the King of Glory for half an hour at nearly full 119.9 fps on the Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro. The temperature doesn’t go more than 43.5 degrees, as per the company.
Xiaomi also confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 will feature 67W wired charging with 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. While the Xiaomi 12 Pro will feature 120W 2nd generation fast charging technology with two fast-charging modes, both faster and more stable. In low-temperature mode, the temperature is just 37℃, as per the company.
The company will use a new Surge P1 chip which is Xiaomi’s first self-developed charging chip that offers 120W single-cell charging compared to the dual-cell arrangement. The new chip is a result of 18 months of R&D in four major R&D centers and 100 million yuan has been spent in the research to achieve a high-power 120W fast charging in a thin and light body, as per the company.
We should know more details about the phones in the coming day, and the exact price when these go officially launch on next early next week.
