Xiaomi has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE in India, which is the successor of last year’s Mi 11 Lite 5G, as they announced. It has a 6.55-inch 90Hz AMOLED Dot Display with 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit TrueColor, and supports Dolby Vision. It runs on the Snapdragon 778G 5G processor with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, supports up to 12 5G bands, and works on MIUI 12.5 b based on Android 11 with 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates for the phone.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP telemacro camera, and on the front side has a 20MP punch-hole front camera. There is One-click AI cinema, cinematic video filters, and a new Vlog mode. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 6.81mm ultra-thin, and 158g light bodyweight.
The design is further accentuated by a razor-thin 1.88mm on both top and side bezels and has an anti-fingerprint frosted glass back that keeps the phone free from fingerprints. It is powered by a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging in the box, which can charge up to 50% in 20 minutes and 100% battery in 58 minutes.
