Vivo has launched its latest Y series smartphone the Y36 in two variants - 4G, and 5G in Indonesia, which is the successor of last year’s Vivo Y35. It has a 6.64-inch FHD+ display, a 90Hz refresh rate, a scratch-resistant fluorite AG and a glitter glass back design. The vivo Y36 4G runs on the Snapdragon 680 SoC, the same as the Y35, and the Vivo Y36 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with 8GB RAM + up to 8GB of virtual RAM, 256GB storage, and is based on Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP depth camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a large 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The phone also has Memory Booster technology that lets you run 25 apps at once without lag.

The vivo Y36 4G comes in sparkle aqua and meteor black, and the price is IDR 3,399,000 (US$ 227 / Rs. 18,760 approx.) for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version. The Y36 5G comes in crystal green and mystic black, and the price has yet to be announced. The Vivo Y36 4G is available now for pre-order in Indonesia on vivo.com, Shopee, and Akulaku.
