Vivo has been uncharacteristically quiet over the last few months, which could just mean one thing - we are nearing a launch. According to reports coming in, Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo X9 smartphone next month on November 17th.
The leak coming in from China also added that the X9 will have a dual-camera setup possible using Sony IMX260 sensor with two 12MP dual cameras. The sensor is said to be the same used on the Samsung Galaxy S7 with dual-pixel autofocus.
On the inside, the Vivo X9 is expected to pack one of Qualcomm's recently announced chipsets, quite possibly the Snapdragon 653 which comes with native support for dual cameras. Again, we can expect 4GB RAM on the phone with at least 64GB onboard storage. It would be interesting to see what new features Vivo adds to the dual camera setup.
But that's pretty much all we know and can speculate about the device for now. We will let you know when we find out more.
