Vivo has launched its second foldable flagship smartphone the Vivo X Fold+ in China, which is the successor of the Vivo X Fold that was launched back in April. It has the same 8-inch 2K+ foldable display with 120Hz LTPO Samsung E5 AMOLED panel, UTG glass and an outer display has a 6.53-inch FHD+ 21:9 E5 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on both inside and outside the screen.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor with 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage, and is based on Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean. The Vivo X Fold+ has a similar design as the predecessor with a similar leather back, and the camera is the same as the predecessor. The company has added a new red color variant.
It is powered by a 4730mAh battery which is slightly bigger than its predecessor, supports 66W fast charging, and 50W wireless charging, and also has 10W reverse wireless charging.
