Vivo has begun teasing the launch of its latest smartphone in the V40 series, the Vivo V40e in India, following the release of the V40 and V40 Pro. The company has confirmed that the V40e will feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz 3D curved display, a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and will come in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colour options. It boasts a sleek 7.49mm design and weighs 183g.
In terms of cameras, the device will be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, a 2x portrait mode, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP eye AF front camera, and an Aura Light for Smart Color Temperature Adjustment. It will support Ultra-Stable 4K video with OIS and EIS, as well as AI features like a portrait suite, eraser, and photo enhancer. The phone also includes an Infinity Eye Camera Module, which vivo refers to as Ultra-Luxe Camera Art.
According to a Geekbench listing, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and come with 8GB of RAM, similar to the V30e released earlier this year.
The vivo V40e will be available on Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and in offline stores, with an expected launch as early as next week.
