Today, Vivo has confirmed to launch its latest mid-range 5G smartphone Vivo S12 series of selfie-focused smartphones in China on December 22 at 7:30 PM (local time). The official teaser revealed only confirms the launch of the Vivo S12 Series but didn't reveal any specs and design. The Vivo S12 and S12 Pro will be the successor of the Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro smartphones that was launched earlier this year in China.
The Vivo S12 and S12 Pro will be the company’s first smartphones to come preinstalled with the latest OriginOS Ocean UI that was recently announced in China. As we know that the Vivo S10 series are powered by Dimensity 1100 processor, but as per the rumors, the Vivo S12 series will be powerful Dimensity 1200 SoC.
The Vivo S12 Pro poster has surfaced online that shows a flat display with a wide notch, but earlier rumors claimed that the S12 Pro will come with a curved edge panel. So, it is likely that the image might be the vanilla S12. The rear panel of the phone shows a 108-megapixel triple camera setup with gold rings on the camera lens and a LED flash.
According to the earlier rumors, the Vivo S12 Pro will feature a dual front camera setup where a 50-megapixel as a primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The 3C certification also revealed that this phone will support 44W fast charging. However, there is no word on its battery size.
Vivo Watch 2 -
Vivo also confirmed to launch its new smartwatch the VIvo Watch 2 in China on December 22. The poster also shared long battery life and independent communication, which could be a hint for eSIM support. The company doesn't reveal any details about the Watch 2, but the actual image leaked that reveals the smartwatch will have a circular design and come with leather and silicone strap options.
