The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) has announced a new Spec Mode in USB type-c port called DisplayPort 2.0 Alternate Mode Standard, which comes in the upcoming USB 4 specification. This feature can be fully upgraded in the USB Type-C port where you can enable a data transfer up to 80 Gigabits per second (Gbps) of DisplayPort video data and up to 40 Gbps with continuously SuperSpeed USB data transfer.
The New USB4 Type-C specifications are -

The VESA expected to announce the products with the DisplayPort 2.0 Alt Mode spec will be arrived starting in 2021.
