Night Mode on Twitter was introduced on the Android App last month and it has now made it to iOS for iPhone/iPad users.
You would have to toggle the mode manually as there is no automatic option yet. iOS already has a Night mode built into the recent beta builds which shifts both the color temperature of the display and reduces brightness as well for a more comfortable reading experience.
Twitter's Night Mode changes the color of the app to a darker blue shade with white text, so you don't have to see the blinding white light as soon as you open the app in bed.
