Twitter, it seems is playing with some settings on its Android app. Some users have spotted a night mode in their twitter app which gives the app a dark blue shade, both to conserve battery-life and also make reading at night more pleasing.
The fonts have also been given a shade of grey to look pleasing instead of being blinding white in color. The functionality seems to have been added server side, since we haven't seen the feature live in our beta Twitter app.
Android Police says that they have gotten several reports from their users but even their members haven't had the luck of getting the new feature to work. Twitter is still testing the Night Mode toggle and would be available later without the requirement for an app-update.
