Just a few days ago we had reported that Xiaomi was working on the Redmi Note 4 which may be unveiled on July 27, now we have images and specs of the new Redmi Note as well.
According to an image of an alleged retail box of the Redmi Note 4, it would run on the Helio X20 deca-core processor with a 5.5-inch 1080p display 13MP dual rear cameras and 5MP front camera. If you look at the image above, you would also see the fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Redmi Note 4 is expected to launch with Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 onboard and will come in a dual-SIM avatar. The box pack also says that there will be a 4100 mAh battery similar to the Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi is also expected to launch its Macbook Air competitors at the July 27 event running on 6th-gen Core processors. Lei Jun, Xiaomi Founder had said that they would accelerate their product launches in the H2 2016 and it seems the Redmi series is first to get the boost.
There have been rumors circulating about the Mi 5s as well as the Mi Note 2 smartphones as well, which may be launched within the next couple of months. The Redmi Note 4 in its MediaTek avatar won't be making it to India, especially when the Snapdragon 650 variant is doing so well here.
