TCL has launched its new NXTPAPER smartphone series including the TCL 40 NXTPAPER and TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G in the Global Market. These phones are the world’s first smartphones to offer a paper-like visual experience with full color.
TCL NXTPAPER Technology -
TCL's internally developed NXTPAPER technology introduces electronic paper-like displays in full color. These smartphones have garnered praise from both consumers and the media, with a strong emphasis on eye comfort, as evidenced by their TÜV certification for low blue light emissions.
These smartphones are equipped with adaptive display settings that automatically adjust to their surroundings, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. Furthermore, they excel in minimizing glare and fingerprint smudges, enhancing the readability of outdoor content. The NXTPAPER UI is customized to offer users the choice between full-color or black-and-white displays, providing added flexibility.

The TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G boasts a 6.78-inch FHD+ NXTPAPER display that delivers exceptional visuals. It also comes equipped with dual speakers and immersive 3D boom sound, powered by DTS, ensuring a remarkable audiovisual experience. On the photography front, it features a 32MP selfie camera and a 50MP rear triple camera system, which includes a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera for versatile photography.
With its slender 7.89mm profile and stylish 2D back cover, this device offers both aesthetics and functionality. It boasts 256GB of storage paired with 8GB of RAM, and it even has the capability to expand its virtual RAM by an additional 8GB, ensuring smooth multitasking. Additionally, the smartphone is bundled with a compatible T-pen for convenient note-taking.

Pricing and Availability -
The TCL 40 NXTPAPER will first be available in Europe in September, while the TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G will be available in Europe in October. Both models will be released in more countries globally later this year.
