Sony has just announced the Xperia M2 Aqua, the company's first waterproof phone for the masses. It comes with a 4.8-inch qHD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM running Android 4.4 KitKat. There's a 8 MP camera at the back with Exmor RS Sensor, VGA front-facing camera. The Xperia M2 Aqua comes with IP65 and IP68 waterproof rating as well as IP65 dustproof rating. Its the highest waterproof rating for a smartphone.

The Xperia M2 Aqua comes with the exact same specs as the Xperia M2 apart from the fact that the Aqua is dust and waterproof. It would be available in black, white and purple colors starting late September.
