Sony has launched the Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual smartphones in India. Both feature a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 512 MB RAM running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. There's a 3 MP camera at the back but no front-facing unit. The Xperia E1 and its dual-SIM sibling come with a 100 dB loud speakerphone which is the USP of these budget Sony smartphones. Both have a dedicated Walkman key, shake to shuffle gesture as well as dedicated music keys making it a music lover's delight. These are directed more towards youth of the country.
The Xperia E1 Dual is a dual-SIM Active device, meaning you can get calls on both SIM cards at the same time. Therefore, you will not miss a call even if you talking on the other line. This is one of the first dual-SIM active smartphones available in the sub Rs. 10000 price segment.

The Xperia E1 has been priced at Rs. 9490 and the Xperia E1 Dual costs Rs. 1000 more at Rs. 10490. The E1 Dual will launch first on March 10th, followed by Xperia E1 on March 25th. Both will be available in Black, White and Purple colors.
