Sony also launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the Xperia 10 VI along with the Xperia 1 VI smartphone. It features the same 6.1-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, it replaces the Snapdragon 695 SoC with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
Equipped with 8GB of RAM and running on Android 14, the device maintains the 48MP main camera with an Exmor RS sensor for mobile, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP front camera from its predecessor, but eliminates the telephoto camera.
Despite housing a 5,000mAh battery, the phone weighs just 164 grams. The back panel adopts a matte, milky-white semi-transparent resin material, lending the device a soft design. It boasts IP65 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance and features front stereo speakers. Sony introduces the new "Video Creator" app, facilitating easy content editing and video creation, according to the company's announcement.
