Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon Dev Kit for Windows, a compact PC featuring the Snapdragon X Elite, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. This kit is specifically designed for developers focusing on creating or optimizing apps and experiences for the upcoming generation of AI PCs, arriving just ahead of the Snapdragon X Series laptops in June.
The Snapdragon Dev Kit enables developers to fine-tune Windows applications for Snapdragon processors using familiar tools such as Visual Studio and VSCode, allowing for straightforward app recompilation directly on the Dev Kit.
This ensures that PC users get the best possible experience by leveraging the native Windows on Snapdragon toolchain. The Dev Kit itself features a high-performance Snapdragon X Elite chip and numerous ports, making it ideal for developers working with multiple monitors.
