Samsung is working on its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6 smartphone, which features a larger battery compared to the Flip5, potentially reaching around 4,000mAh, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24, according to a report from GalaxyClub.
The report suggests the possibility of the Flip6 housing two batteries, with capacities of 1097mAh and 2790mAh, totaling 3887mAh. This figure is comparable to the Galaxy S24's 3880mAh rated capacity, leading to speculation that the Flip6 might be marketed with a 4000mAh capacity.
In contrast, the current Galaxy Z Flip5 advertises a total capacity of 3700mAh, sourced from its 971mAh and 2620mAh units. It remains uncertain whether the Galaxy Z Fold6 will receive a similar battery enhancement. Nonetheless, expectations suggest that the Flip6 will offer longer battery life per charge compared to the Flip5.
Rumors also hint at improvements in display, camera, and AI features for the Galaxy Z Flip6. Leaks indicate a broader aspect ratio, a 50MP camera, and enhanced AI capabilities, aligning it with the Galaxy S24 series.
While leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Fold6 could launch around August, details regarding potential cost reductions and bezel-related technological changes remain speculative.
