Samsung is in the works on a new smartwatch dubbed the 'Galaxy Watch7 Ultra,' aligning with previous indications of Samsung's intention to continue the Classic series with this fresh addition, boasting a distinctive design.
According to insights from Smartprix and OnLeaks, Samsung is gearing up to unveil new hardware, including the Galaxy Watch7 series. For the first time, this series will feature an Ultra variant, known as the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra, images of which have surfaced online.
The Galaxy Watch7 Ultra is set to sport an unconventional square-ish outer frame with a circular display nestled within, departing from the conventional circular dial design. Nevertheless, it will retain the beloved rotating bezel characteristic of previous Classic variants, as depicted in the leaked renders.
Although sporting a circular display for simplified UI optimization, the Watch7 Ultra's slightly rounded square design will offer a distinctive aesthetic reminiscent of One UI default icons.
With a 1.5-inch diameter display, the Watch7 Ultra maintains consistency with its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, albeit boasting larger overall dimensions at 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 mm. The rotating dial is updated with lines, replacing the numerical hour indicators.
The Ultra model introduces a third circular button, possibly offering unique functionalities. The back of the watch showcases a circular array of sensors, a departure from the design of the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. The strap appears wider, and the body features tiny holes, speculated to be microphones, along with a larger speaker grille. Renders indicate availability in black and white color options.

As for its launch date, reports suggest that the Galaxy Unpacked event, purportedly set for July 10th in Paris, will unveil not only the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Ring but also the much-anticipated Galaxy Watch7 Ultra.
