Samsung has announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Paris, France, on July 10th, as anticipated. The company’s invitation emphasizes AI, featuring an image of its Galaxy Z series foldable.
Samsung stated - "The next frontier of Galaxy AI is coming. Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI."
At the event, we can expect the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 -
This year, the Galaxy Z series is launching a month earlier than last year’s August release due to a faster production schedule. The standard Z Fold 6 model is set to be thinner than its predecessor, with the entry-level model focusing on increased thinness and cost reduction by excluding stylus support.
According to recent rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, aiming to attract more buyers without the "For Galaxy" branding seen in the Galaxy S24 series. Additionally, there are rumours about more affordable Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE models with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 or Exynos 2200 processors, potentially released in late 2024.
Galaxy Watch7 Ultra -
For the first time, the Galaxy Watch7 series will include an Ultra variant featuring a distinctive square-ish outer frame with a circular display inside, deviating from the traditional circular dial. However, it will retain the rotating bezel seen in previous Classic variants, as depicted in the renders.
The watch is rumored to have a large 1.5-inch screen and a third circular button, potentially offering unique functions. Unlike the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, the back of the Watch7 Ultra will have a circular array of sensors.
Galaxy Buds 3 -
The Galaxy Buds 3 are said to feature a stem design with a case that resembles AirPods and has a transparent look. Reports indicate that the Galaxy Buds 3 will include a single driver, Active Noise Cancellation, and an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, along with an expected 24-hour battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Ring -
Samsung showcased the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024 after it was teased at the Galaxy S24 event during Galaxy Unpacked. The company is expected to reveal the pricing and rollout details of the smart ring at the Unpacked event in July.
Samsung stated that the Galaxy Ring will allow users to gain insights and understandings about their health seamlessly throughout the day and night, aligning with the company’s broader vision for a connected digital wellness platform.
Live Stream -
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on July 10th at 3 p.m. CEST (6:30 PM IST). As usual, Samsung will provide a live stream of the event on YouTube.
