Samsung Electronics has launched its first AI-powered tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+ in India, alongside the Galaxy S24 FE. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra boasts a 14.6-inch display, while the S10+ features a 12.4-inch screen, both utilizing Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology for vibrant and clear visuals. Advanced anti-reflective technology reduces glare, ensuring visibility even in outdoor environments.
Equipped with quad speakers enhanced by AI-driven Dialogue Boost, the tablets deliver improved audio clarity by amplifying speech and reducing background noise. Constructed with Armor Aluminum and rated IP68 for durability, both models are built to endure everyday use.
Both tablets run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and Tab S10 Ultra provides an 18% increase in CPU performance, 28% in GPU performance, and 14% in NPU performance compared to the Tab S9 Ultra. The Ultra model features an 11,200mAh battery, while the S10+ is equipped with a 10,090mAh battery, both supporting 45W fast charging.
Memory configurations include up to 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, expandable to 1.5TB via microSD. Connectivity options encompass pSIM + eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 7 / Wi-Fi 6E (for the Tab S10+), Bluetooth 5.3, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Productivity and Creativity Tools -
With the Galaxy Tab S10 series, Samsung emphasizes enhanced productivity and creativity features:
- Note Assist streamlines note-taking using the S Pen and large display, converting handwritten notes into clean text and generating automatic summaries.
- PDF Overlay Translation allows users to translate PDFs without leaving the document.
- Sketch to Image converts simple sketches into images, helping users visualize their creative ideas.
- Circle to Search with Google lets users circle text or images for immediate web searches or translations, even within videos and images, without needing to switch apps.
- Air Command with AI provides quick access to Galaxy AI Assistant features, allowing users to select between Bixby or Google’s Gemini assistant.
Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S10 series acts as a home AI hub with SmartThings integration, simplifying device control. Features like 3D Map View and AI Energy Mode allow users to efficiently manage their SmartThings-enabled devices.
Third-Party App Support and Privacy -
The Galaxy Tab S10 series supports a wide range of third-party apps such as Goodnotes, LumaFusion, Noteshelf 3, Clip Studio Paint, Picsart, and Sketchbook, enhancing both creativity and productivity. Advanced privacy controls enable users to turn off online data processing, while Samsung Knox ensures real-time data protection.
Both models feature a 13MP + 8MP Ultra Wide rear camera and a 12MP Ultra Wide front camera, with the Ultra model adding an additional 12MP rear camera. The tablets come with an IP68-rated S Pen and run on Android 14.
