Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab E for the Taiwanese market. It comes with a 9.6-inch 1280x800 pixels display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage running Android 4.4 KitKat. It has a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera. A 5000 mAh battery keeps the budget tablet ticking.
There's just WiFi connectivity on-board, no mobile data. It is about 8.8mm thin and weighs in at 490 grams. Its been priced at $226 (about Rs. 15,000) in Taiwan, at present there is no word on an international release.
