Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has just made itself known on the Samsung Mobile Press website. In terms of specifications, it features a 10.1-inch Super Clear LCD display with WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) running on the Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 800 processor depending on region of launch. The tablet will run Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box with 2 GB RAM. You can see that its quite close to the Note 10.1 2014 in terms of specifications.
The main difference between the Exynos based and Snapdragon based model is that the Exynos based Note 10.1 supports only WiFi + 3G connectivity while the Snapdragon 800 variant features LTE connectivity as well. The camera on the Exynos variant can record 1080p videos at 30 FPS, while the Snapdragon variant 1080p videos at 60 FPS. Both variants feature Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with channel bonding, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity alongwith GPS + GLONASS, an IR blaster and 16GB or 32GB internal storage, expandable using microSD cards.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a 8,220 mAh battery same as the Note 10.1. Its quite thin and light at just 7.3mm and 477 grams weight. However the page has since been removed and we expect that an announcement will come sooner than later.
