The new Samsung flagship, Galaxy S5 may be unveiled at MWC and if the recent leak is any suggestion Samsung is more than ready to start shipping the new beast. According to the image of the retail box, the Galaxy S5 will feature a 5.25-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 2.5 GHz quad-core processor probably a Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AC with LTE Cat 4 connectivity. There's 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM on board as well.
The camera has been listed as a 20 MP unit, which we heard was capable of UHD shooting but on the box it just says 1080p. The Galaxy S5 will run Android 4.4 KitKat with an improved TouchWiz UI and has a 3000 mAh battery. The box does not reveal the build materials used in the new S5. Although the image can be a rather good Photoshop effort, but the specs written are nothing extraordinary. The Samsung Unpacked 5 event has been scheduled for February 24th in Barcelona, so its just a matter of weeks now.
