At its launch event for the Galaxy S5 in India Samsung had said that it would be priced between Rs. 51000 and Rs. 53,000. Now we have confirmation that the Galaxy S5 has been priced at Rs. 51,500 in India. The Octa-core Exynos 5422 variant of the Galaxy S5 went on pre-order previous month and will be available come April 11th.

Samsung is also offering a limited 15% cashback offer on the Galaxy S5 bringing the price down to about Rs. 44,000 but only for Citibank Credit card holders.
