The ruggedized variant of the Galaxy S5, namely the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has gone official on AT&T. The body of the phone is dust and waterproof as well as shock-resistant with IP67 and MIL-spec 810G certification.
In terms of specs its actually quite same as the Galaxy S5 with a 5.1-inch full-HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2 GB RAM running Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box. The Galaxy S5 Active also has the same 16 MP ISOCELL camera alongwith 2800 mAh battery. It only misses the fingerprint scanner on the home button, but apart from that it matches the Galaxy S5 spec-for-spec.
